The MB Building Kit System

Visitors will also see other new products in the MB (Module Block) Building Kit System, including profiles, fasteners and angle brackets. Also at the show, igus will be promoting a range of products, such as its range of  Chainflex bus cables which are capable of high speed data transmission. They include FireWire, USB, GigE cables and are said to be ideal for digital camera technology. There are also fibre optic cables which can transmit data over distances up to several hundred meters.
Also featuring on the stand will be easy snap-open E2/000 energy chains plus the
extremely low noise E6 chain. The company will also be showing a new energy chain
manufactured from igumid HT which will not melt even when subject to hot chips up to
850oC, and a newly-launched stock bar made from high performance iglidur bearing
materials. This, explains the company, means users can benefit from using high quality
self-lubricating polymers in any machined component, and can now order a
mechanically machined special size bearing of any dimension in low quantities.
Having recently entered into a strategic partnership with Vision & Control, automation
and gripping technology supplier, Schunk, will be showing a selection of its products
including the intelligent Vision Sensor SRV, a development from the Camat series of
products from Vision & Control.
The SRV vision sensor for industrial image processing is a complete system that can be
used without additional peripheral devices. It can be utilized for practically all tasks in
industrial image processing, says the company, including inspection of workpieces,
completeness checks in assembly automation, searching for parts or positioning axes
and angles.
The company will also be introducing the new size 60 Beta series of linear axes which is
intended for economical axis applications with high demands on dynamic and smooth
running; and showing the new polyamide gripper fingers and adapter plates which were
manufactured in a laser forming process by LMD, a technology partner of Schunk.
Visitors to Beakbanes stand will see a selection of the companys products, including
high temperature pressure bellows in silicone rubber. The company also supplies
protection for machine tool slide-ways including Steel Telescopic Covers and specialist
metal fabrications and assemblies.
The companys aim is to provide a solution to application problems, so all products are
bespoke and designed to your requirements; and it is using the show to highlight its
products to the European market and increase awareness of the service it provides.
MiniTec will be showing several new components from its Profile System and Linear
System machine framing and modular positioning system ranges. One product will be
the Powerlock fastener that allows rapid assembly with no pre-machining or pre-drilling.
As well as several new profiles and positioning systems, products ranging from
telescopic guides for work bench height adjustment and cross connectors, to rails and
shaft supporting profiles, will be on view. The company is also showing more of its
stainless steel profile range which is suited to harsh environments.
Within HepcoMotions product lines there is considerable scope for selecting the
optimum component or system for the job. The company will be emphasizing this
capability as well as its range of off-the-shelf linear motion components with in-house
design and assembly facilities. Its GV3 universal linear motion system, for instance, is a
natural choice for bespoke system specification as it offers a range of sizes, types and
precision grades to meet most automation application needs, claims the company.
